Local delivery or pick-up is available for the following areas:

Ladysmith
Lantzville
If you are travelling through or coming to Nanaimo from elsewhere, please contact us for pick-up arrangements. We can always arrange a time and date for easy pick-up. Just give us a call at (250) 591-8728 or an email at info@theecochicbaby.com.
You can always opt to have items shipped to you via Canada Post if it is more convienient. Please let me know in the comments box upon checkout if you would like to have your products delivered or if you would like to pick them up.
Shipping Costs and Times
All orders within Canada are sent via Canada Post with tracking and insurance. All parcels are insured up to $100.00. Once your package has been shipped, we will email you your tracking number. You can track your package at www.canadapost.com.
All shipping costs are based on the number of items purchased. This system provides the most economical shipping options available. Please take note that some products which are oversized may be subject to extra delivery fees. If this is the case, the total shipping will be described in the product descritption.

Orders will be shipped Mondays and Thursdays.
For all orders within Canada, Canada Post's Regular Parcel service guarantees delivery of all regional orders (within BC) within 1-3 business days and national orders (the rest of Canada, although some rural areas may take a little longer) within 3-10 days. For orders to The United States, please allow anywhere from 1-3 weeks. For international orders, please allow 3-4 weeks. Canada post does not run on holidays.

Then, contact us at theecochicbaby.com , let us know which items you would like to purchase plus your desired delivery option, and we can get an exact quote for you. It's as easy as that!
Important Notes on Shipping:
Some items are lighter to ship than other items and we understand that. For example, I can fit two Thirsties covers into a flat envelope and ship it anywhere in Canada and the US for $2.50. The same goes for children's shirts and some pants, depending on the volume of course. As you can see, this is cheaper than the flat rate pointed out in the chart above. At any time, if the shipping is in fact cheaper, I will always refund you the difference and just charge actual shipping.
Electronic gift cards will be sent to the recipient's email address upon receipt of payment.
If your purchase is a gift for someone else, please let us know the mailing address in the comment box.
Returns & Exchanges
Thank you for making your purchase at The Eco-Chic Baby. We want our customers to have complete satisfaction with the items you have received.
We will accept returns and exchanges on most items within 14 days of you receiving them. Please contact me at info@theecochicbaby.com me before sending anything back to me, so I can give you a return authoization number for tracking the package.
Returned items must be in original new condition. Due to the hygenic nature of some of the products, this means unwashed and unworn. If the item is less than perfect, it will be sent back to you at your expense.
Regarding cloth diapers, we reccomend trying just one on for fit before you wash and use your entire purchase. We cannot accept returns on washed or used diapers.
When shipping items back to us, we suggest that you get a tracking number for that package. You are soley responsible for paying all costs related to shipping your return. We will inspect the merchandise after it is received. If it is deemed acceptable for a return, you will be refunded your money in the original method in was paid, less the original shipping fee. We do not refund shipping fees whatsoever.
Information on Product Warrenties
For warranties on diapers or other products, please contact us and we can work together to contact the manufacturer of the product(s) in question. It is very important that you keep your original receipt for your warranty to be valid.
Pricing
Prices are subject to change due to the fluctuation of US/CDN exchange rates. We reserve the right to change prices at any time to reflect this.

At The Eco-Chic Baby, your personal information is always kept confidential. Your information will never be used publicly and will only be used for internal use. These include confirming and tracking yor orders, or if you so desire, emailing you our newletter. When you suscribe to our newsletter, we only use the information you provide us in order to send it to you. We will not share or sell your personal information with any organizations.
We only collect your name, email address, telephone number, and mailing address. We never keep any banking or credit card information.

What currency are your prices in?
All items are priced in Canadian dollars.
Will I be charged Sales Tax?
We are required by law to charge Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 6% to all orders shipped to Canadian addresses. In addition, we are required to charge Provincial Sales Tax (PST) of 7% on all non-exempt items shipped to British Columbia addresses. Purchases of baby clothes, shoes, and cloth diapers are PST exempt.
No sales taxes are applied to order shipped outside of Canada. Please note that you may be responsible to pay customs and duty charges on your purchases.
Can I suggest a new product to be carried at The Eco-Chic Baby?
Of course! We are always looking for eco-hip products. If you have an reccomendations, we would love to consider them. Please email us at info@theecochicbaby with product details and links and we will be happy to take a look.
What methods of payment do you accept?
The Eco-Chic Baby accepts Paypal online, and cash or cheque in person only. In addition, you can redeem any e-gift certificate or paper certificate , store credit or special discount mailed or e-mailed to you by entering the corresponding code when checking out.
What if I don't have a Paypal account?
You don't need a Paypal account to pay for your purchases! Upon checkout, Paypal will send you to their secure site where you can submit your credit card and billing information.
An item I would like to purchase is out of stock. What do I do?
We receive new shipments all the time, so simply email or phone to have us reserve one for you.
